Rina Thau Bio
Rina is an Israeli-born artist living locally with both international and domestic reach---artwork on display in both private art collections as well as galleries.
Initially educated in the Tel Aviv College of Fine Arts, Rina’s experience in the art world has grown considerably. She’s volunteered her time as a docent in the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art in Alabama culminating in a recognition award for outstanding volunteering service. Even after leaving Alabama, she continued her docent work up till the present day where she now donates her skill and knowledge to the Dayton Art Museum while residing in Ohio.
Rina’s professional work is not limited to simply creating works of art, but also extends to teaching her craft. She’s taught various aspects of art to military family dependents at the Maxwell Air Force base in Alabama, as well as taught in Ohio at the Hillel Academy. Ever determined to expand her knowledge, Rina’s never truly left the other side of the classroom, and has taken numerous courses on art technique and history at various institutes across the United States.
